Apalachicola River Across Florida’s Panhandle 150-mile Leisurely Paddle
We plan to begin north of the river in the Chattahoochee River at the FL/AL/GA border intersection. The Chattahoochee River originates in northeastern Georgia and flows down to Lake Seminole on the Florida/Georgia border and the river that continues south is called the Apalachicola. For some reason back in colonial days they used two names for virtually the same river.
